msl
was originally founded in 1982 with the objective of providing the
motorsports industry with professional hospitality and catering
services.
Over the next ten years, the business continued to expand its operations
in both breadth and depth, looking after teams competing in a variety
of motorsport disciplines including the British Touring Car Championship,
Global Endurance Racing, the International F3000 Championship and
more notably the Formula One World Championship, where we currently
look after the Super Aguri team and the sports governing body,
the Federation International d'Automobile (FIA).
Outside motorsports, msl
adapted the services it provided to embrace other international
events such as the annual Volvo Masters golf tournament at its venue
in Southern Spain.
In 1993, a second division was launched to focus on the 'live' event
and exhibition sector, specialising in event management, logistics
and design services.
The venture proved an immediate success, attracting a number of
very high profile companies including Toyota Cars GB, a client that
we still work very closely with today.
March 2003 saw the launch of a third addition to the
msl family.
msl:food was conceived initially
to serve the UK market with a bespoke event caterer and party designer,
although the division has already become a popular export, one of
the first events being a product launch at a grand prix in Germany.
