July 2007 | msl:global scores two firsts at the British Grand Prix

This month msl provided VIP catering for the Copse Hospitality Village at the flagship event of the British motorsport calendar. Over the three days of the British Grand Prix, we looked after over 3,700 guests the culmination of which was race day, with just over 50% of this total! Guests were treated to a selection of English and Continental treats while lunch consisted of a variety of buffet stations influenced by English, Mediterranean and Malaysian dishes.

With a reputation for our fleet of hospitality vehicles, we were approached by children’s charity Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) to provide them with a hospitality unit in which they could entertain children from the hospital and organise their fundraising activities from. We supplied a motorhome with integrated six metre awning and a seven metre kitchen trailer to provide food for the events team and children visiting the Grand Prix. The event was a real success for all involved and we hope to be able to assist GOSH at next year’s event.

For more information on the vital work carried out by GOSH or to make a donation, visit www.gosh.org.

August 2003 | British and French Grand Prix'

A bit of news from the formula one paddock. At Silverstone we were very lucky to be looking after some of the stars of the movie Terminator 3, due to their link-up with the Jaguar team. We were also joined by Ginny Buckley from the News Of The World paper who ran an article on the teams operations during a race weekend. Her comment of being 'demoted to catering' didn’t go down too well with our executive chef!!

At Magny Cours Jaguar invited Michel Troisgros to experience hospitality, grand prix style. The world-renowned three-Michelin star chef was very surprised at the cramped conditions our chefs have to work in and was particularly impressed with the Consommé he chose from the menu.
